When installing Indigo200 transmitters, note the following requirements and warnings:
| CAUTION
The IP65 rating of the transmitter applies
only when the wiring is done through the bottom lead-through and the seal at the back of the
transmitter is left intact. See Wiring options for an overview of the lead-through
options.
|
| The transmitter can be powered
with the input/output cable, or a separate 24 V mains power supply accessory (Vaisala item
code: INDIGOPOWER24VSP) can also be used. When planning the wiring in your installation,
review the information related to lead-through options and IP rating restrictions in Wiring options. |
| CAUTION When opening the transmitter cover, pull the transmitter cover off the base
in a straight angle to avoid damaging the connector pins of the transmitter. Do not twist or
bend. See Opening and mounting. |
| CAUTION When connecting probes or cables to the
transmitter, always use the locking wheel of the transmitter to lock the probe or cable in
place. Never turn from the probe body. See Attaching probes and cables. |
| CAUTION Only connect compatible
measurement devices to the transmitter. Attempting to connect incompatible devices or
cables can damage the equipment. Refer to transmitter specifications for compatibility
information. |
