PSU501 provides power to the BWS500 station. It has an AC (mains) connector for sites where AC (mains) power is available and a DC connector for connecting a solar panel or other DC power source. PSU501 contains a backup battery to ensure operation during a power failure or outage.

The battery inside PSU501 may be fully discharged if PSU501 has been in storage for a long time. Recharge the battery before installing PSU501, especially if the only power source of your BWS500 is the solar panel.
