You can view mixing layer height (MLH) data or profile data in BL-View.
-
To view boundary layer data, select MLH data and see Legend, which includes:
- Mixing layer: the height of the mixing layer
- 1h average: 1-hour average mixing layer height. The information is updated every hour.
- Elevated layer 1 and Elevated layer 2: elevated aerosol layers
For MLH data, the available intensity view is ABS.

The following markings are used.
- 1
- Sunrise indicator (yellow)
- 2
- Sunset indicator (black)
- 3
- Cloud base heights (blue dots)
- 4
- Boundary layer heights (dark red/yellow/green) and elevated layers (gray)
- 5
- Signal from clouds and precipitation (red)
- 6
- Aerosol backscatter signal (light blue to yellow)
- 7
- 1-hour average mixing layer height (black lines)
With a live plot, if a valid parameter is not correctly measured, its value is replaced with 2 slash characters (//). -
To view the whole profile with cloud base data, select Profile data.
The available intensity views are: ABS, LDR, XPOL, and PPOL.
