If you installed the device higher than instructed, do the following.
  1. If the device is on the road surface level or a maximum of 20 mm (0.79 in) above the road surface, you can try lowering it by applying heavy even weight on the device.

    For example, park a heavy vehicle on top of the device.

    CAUTION Do not hammer the device or apply force on the device some other way because it can damage or break the device.
  2. If that does not work or the device is more than 20 mm (0.79 in) above the road surface, remove the device from the road using the provided removal tool. See Removing and recycling device.
    WARNING

    Do not try to remove the device by force, for example by drilling. Only remove the device using the removal tool.

  3. Start a new installation with a new device.
