You can have 2 separate wind sensors installed in the weather station at the same time. The wind sensors are connected to the DMU801 data management unit through serial ports C1 and D1.
One of the sensors is set as primary and the other as secondary. Data from the primary sensor is used in all calculations, such as evaporation and wind chill, that use wind measurements as input.
Wind sensors are aligned in the weather station so that the North arrow on top of the sensor points North. If a wind sensor is aligned to point to another direction, make a wind direction offset by setting the deviation angle for the sensor.

- In the Web UI, go to .
- Locate the correct wind (or multiweather) sensor parameter group on the list: nmea_wind_1, nmea_wind_2, or wxt_1.
- In parameter wind_direction_offset, set the correct deviation angle from North.
- To save the changes and take them into use, select Save and restart script.
