In the Web UI Serial console view you can see observation data from sensors connected to DMU801 through serial connection. The data can be used for debugging, and you can also issue commands to the sensor.
  1. In the Web UI, go to System > Serial console.
  2. In Serial port, select the DMU801 base unit or plug‑in module port to which the sensor you want to view is connected.

    The Connected sensors and the Port settings are displayed under the selected Serial port. The terminal window starts showing data polled from the selected sensor.

  3. To save the data on your computer, select Save.
  4. To start the write mode and to be able to give commands, select Bypass mode.

    The observation data is no longer printed in the terminal window. You can type commands in the text input field.

    When Bypass mode is enabled, the selected sensor is controlled by the user. The sensor is in the service mode and no valid data is received from the sensor.
