You can follow the DMU801 operation mode from the status LED on the DMU801 front panel.

Green, steady

DMU801 is functioning normally.

The application software is running. There are no active errors.

Green, blinking

DMU801 is starting up. 1

DMU801 has powered up or reset. The application software is not yet running.

DMU801 is shutting down.

DMU801 is in shutdown mode and not available.

Green, blinking × 3

Factory reset acknowledgement.

When the LED blinks 3 times in green, you have been pressing the Reset button for long enough (approximately 10 s). Release the button to reset DMU801 to factory settings.

Red, steady

Startup error occurred. DMU801 is not operational.

  1. If you have plug‑in modules installed in DMU801, remove the modules one by one to see if one of them causes the fault. Replace the faulty plug‑in module.
  2. If removing the plug‑in modules does not help, replace DMU801.
DMU801 plug‑in modules have their own status LEDs. The LEDs blink green once a minute to indicate that the modules are functional.
1 When you connect power to DMU801, the status LED first blinks once in red.
