The enclosure requires only a minimal amount of maintenance. At least once a year, clean the connectors and the inside of the enclosure of, for example, spider webs and other dirt. At the same time, check the following:
- Check that the internal wiring is in order and that all the screws on the mounting clamps are firmly tightened.
- Check that the door gasket is undamaged.
- Check that the flanges at the bottom of the enclosure are intact.
- Check that the door is firmly closed.
- Check and clean the static pressure head.
- Check and clean the protective vent.
| After a heavy storm, open the enclosure door and check for any water leakage or other damage. |
| CAUTION
When you install or service components inside the enclosure, lock the door in open position with the door latch. When you lift and carry the enclosure, make sure that the door is closed. |
