| The freezing of the collected precipitation of > 200 mm (7.87 in) deforms the collecting bucket floor, tips the bucket, and makes the bucket lean against the pipe housing (force shunt). This causes inaccurate measurement results. |
To prevent the collecting bucket floor from deforming if the collected precipitation freezes in sub-zero temperatures, add anti-freeze solution. The manufacturer recommends that you use Thermoschema's POWERCOOL DC 924-PXL.

If necessary, after precipitation make sure manually that the anti-freeze solution is well mixed in the collecting bucket. Vibration caused by manual mixing may temporarily produce incorrect results.
| Do not pour the anti-freeze solution to the public sewer system. Contact your local authorities regarding the correct disposal. |
