Site parameters identify the weather station and represent some station site conditions, such as elevation from sea level. The station-specific site parameters belong to the parameter group site.

Determining altitude and pressure sensor level

Altitude = Ground level from mean sea level in meters

Pressure sensor level = Distance between the pressure sensor and the ground in meters
  1. In the Web UI, go to Settings > Station parameters.
  2. Under the parameter group site, set the following:
    altitude
    Type the weather station altitude from the mean sea level in meters. This setting is needed only if your weather station measures barometric pressure.
    latitude
    Type the station latitude coordinate.
    longitude
    Type the station longitude coordinate.
    pressureSensorLevel
    Type the height of the pressure sensor in meters from the ground. This setting is only needed if your weather station measures barometric pressure.
    station_name
    Define a name for the station. Do not use spaces or special characters in the station name.
  3. To save the changes and take them into use, select Save and restart script.
