If you cannot align the sensor so that the arrow points North, make a wind direction offset by configuring the deviation angle in the sensor. Mount the sensor to the desired position. Define the deviation angle from the North (zero) alignment. In the Web UI, set the deviation angle for the wind sensor with the wind_direction_offset parameter of the correct sensor. For more information, see AWS810 Configuration and Maintenance Guide (M212419EN). The sensor transmits the wind direction data by using the changed zero alignment.
