WARNING Do not open the power supply unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the unit. If the power supply unit is faulty, replace it.

The AC (mains) cable is not included in the delivery. Use a copper (Cu) cable with a minimum cross-section of 3 × 1.5 mm2 (15 AWG) with maximum operating temperature over +70 °C (+158 °F).

WARNING Before connecting the cable, switch off the power.
  1. Connect the other end of the AC (mains) cable to the external disconnection device.
  2. If you use Termbox, open the cable gland marked AC in on the power supply unit and connect the AC (mains) cable.
  3. Remove the transparent protective cover in front of the AC (mains) input assembly.
  4. Lead the AC (mains) cable into the enclosure.

    Lead the cable through the left-side flange. Attach the cable to the strain relief above the flange.

  5. Strip approximately 100 mm (3.94 in) of the cable, and cut the phase and neutral wires to the length of approximately 50 mm (1.97 in). If you are using a stranded wire, add cable ferrules to the ends.
    CAUTION Make sure that the grounding wire is longer than the phase and neutral wires. Under mechanical stress, the grounding wire must be the last to disconnect from the protective ground terminal.

  6. Connect the AC (mains) wires according to the wiring diagram.
    If you are using Termbox, connect the AC (mains) input cable to Termbox first. Only then connect the cable to the terminals in the AC input assembly.
  7. For strain relief, attach the AC (mains) cable to the enclosure with cable ties.
