To make the observation data collected in the DMU801 data management unit available for storage and analysis, the weather station compiles the data into messages and transfers them through the selected communications interfaces.
The primary observation data messages are the following:
- CSV data message
- SMSAWS data message
- GOES data message
In addition, the following reports are available:
- Custom reporting formats (requires project-specific tailoring)
The reports contain a list of observations, which come from sensors that are connected to the weather station. A single sensor can provide multiple observations to a report (such as stored minimum values from the last 10 minutes, 1 hour, and 24 hours). Some observations, such as sea-level adjusted pressure, are calculated from the inputs of multiple sensors or weather station settings.
