DKE210 has been designed to be fully compliant with ICAO and FAA specifications on equipment and installations located within airport operational areas. DKE210 is constructed of lightweight but very rigid composite materials, and it breaks down completely upon impact.
DKE210 can withstand the effects of weather and temperature, which makes it suitable for marine and other corroding environments. The mast can withstand wind speeds of up to 60 m/s (134 mph). The mast uses either FAA orange/white or ICAO red/white aviation coloring. The DKE210 mast is 10 m (32 ft 10 in) high.
The base frame is hinged. When the mast is equipped with the optional center hinge, one maintenance person can lower the mast to maintain the sensors and other equipment installed on the upper assembly.
