The surge protector for AC (mains) power input consists of a base socket and a removable plug. The LED indicator (shown with an arrow in the preceding figure) displays the status of the plug. If the indicator is green, the plug functions normally. If the indicator is red, the plug is broken and must be replaced with a new one.
