You can change the password of the admin user and the data user. To do that, you need to know the current admin password.

Establish a maintenance connection to FD70.
Log in as an admin user.
```
ssh admin@<fixed IP address of FD70>
```
Change the user level:
```
level 1
```
Change the password.

CAUTION If you forget the admin password, you cannot retrieve it without factory resetting the device (requires device activation code).

Follow generic principles in creating a good strong password.
1. Change the admin user's password:
```
set fd.password.admin
```
2. Change the data user's password:
```
set fd.password.data
```
  Type the new password and repeat it when prompted.
  
  Setting the password with the set or getset command is not possible (as in set fd.password.data <password>).
Close the connection.
