  • T8 Torx key

Make sure that you have the replacement spare part available.

In 2022, the AC (mains) power switch (1P+1 circuit breaker) was replaced with an AC (mains) power switch (2P circuit breaker).
  1. Switch off both AC (mains) power switch and battery switch.

    Make sure that there is no AC (mains) power available for the system.

  2. Remove the protection cap from the receiver.
  3. Remove the hood by opening the 3 screws that hold it in place and opening the connector that connects the hood to the receiver.
    CAUTION Be careful when removing the hood to avoid damaging the connectors.

  4. Open the 4 screws that hold the receiver module in place.
  5. Carefully detach the connectors under the receiver module. Remove the receiver module.
  6. Attach the connectors of the replacement receiver module. Make sure that the parts of the connector snap in place and you hear a click.
  7. Attach the receiver module with 4 screws.
  8. Attach the connector between the hood and the receiver module.

    Make sure that the parts of the connector snap in place and you hear a click.

  9. Attach the hood with 3 screws.
    The transmitter and receiver hoods are not identical. The transmitter window is transparent and the receiver windows are black. Check carefully before replacing the hood.
    CAUTION Make sure that the gasket is in the right place. Make sure that no cables are in the optical path inside the receiver.
  10. Reattach the protection cap.
  11. Power up the system.
  12. Perform calibration adjustment (mode adjust) with the field calibrator kit (FDA701).
