Make sure that you have the replacement spare part available.
If the connectors of the existing component are still usable, do not disconnect the wiring, but remove the connectors and use them for the replacement component. |

Switch off both AC (mains) power switch and battery switch.
Make sure that there is no AC (mains) power available for the system.
- Disconnect the wiring and pull out the component from the DIN rail.

Connect the wires.
Serial data cable wiring: RS-232 QSP431 Pin Data cable TxD 4 TXD (data out) GND 5 Signal ground RxD 6 RXD (data in) Serial data cable wiring: RS-485 QSP431 Pin Data cable D+ 4 RS-485 D+ GND 5 Signal ground D− 6 RS-485 D− QSP431 internal wiring X2 Pin Color Description 4 Green TXD/D+ 5 Dark blue Signal ground 6 Yellow RXD/D− - Attach the replacement component on the DIN rail.

Attach the connectors on the connector board.
The components for data 1 and data 2 are side by side on the DIN rail. Data 1 is on the left and data 2 on its right.
- Power up the system.
