Replacing leased line modem (DXL421)

Leased line modem
  1. Switch off both AC (mains) power switch and battery switch.

    Make sure that there is no AC (mains) power available for the system.

  2. Disconnect the wiring and pull out the component from the DIN rail.
  3. Attach the replacement component on the DIN rail.
  4. Connect the wires.
    2-wire point-to-point leased line
    4-wire point-to-point leased line
    DXL421 internal wiring
    Color Description
    Red +Vin
    Black GND
    − CD
    − RTS
    − CTS
    Yellow TXD
    Green RXD
    Dark blue GND
  5. Power up the system.
  6. Verify operation.
