You can change the heater operation.

The default settings are listed in the following table. Use the settings that are suitable for you.

Parameters for configuring heater operation (basic)

  1. Establish a maintenance connection to FD70.
  2. Change the user level:
    level 1
  3. To change the hood heater mode, type the following command:
    set heater.hood.mode <ON|OFF|AUTO>
    Hood heater mode
    Property Description
    ON Heater is on all the time
    OFF Heater is off all the time
    AUTO Heater operation is based on air temperature (default)
  4. To change the hood heater power consumption mode, type the following command:
    set heater.hood.powermode <NORMAL|LOW>
    Hood heater power consumption
    Property Description
    NORMAL (default)
    LOW

    For example, use when FD70 replaces Vaisala PWD series sensor in a system where power supply has limited capability (max. 65 W)

  5. To change the dew heater mode, type the following command:
    set heater.dew.mode <ON|OFF>
    Dew heater mode
    Property Description
    ON Heater is on all the time (default)
    OFF Heater is off all the time
