By default, ntp1 is set to
2.openembedded.pool.ntp.org. If your device and network are set up to
use this server, NTP fetches the time automatically. It is not possible to set the device
time manually using this protocol.
| If you are uncertain of your
device’s time settings, check with the get time command. |
| It is not possible to manually set the time zone. Device time should be set
using UTC. |
-
Establish a maintenance connection to FD70.
-
If the device does not connect to the default server, then configure an NTP server
address that the device can access with the following commands:
set time.sync.ntp1 <address1>
set time.sync.ntp2 <address2>
-
If the device cannot connect to any time server, then configure
time.sync.ntp1 and time.sync.ntp2 OFF, and set
time manually:
set time.sync.ntp1 OFF
set time.unit.now <YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS>
