Resetting the software (soft reset) restarts the device. A soft reset does not remove user or measurement data.

Soft reset may be needed after making changes in communication settings.

  1. Open a connection to the device and type the following command: 
    reset

    The device restarts.

  2. Establish a maintenance connection to FD70.
  3. Verify operation.
