You can use Vaisala Configuration Tool (version 2.62 or newer) to change between Modbus and ASCII protocol. Alternatively use a terminal software as follows.
  1. To change the communication settings, change to the CLI mode.
    See Changing from Modbus mode to CLI mode.
  2. To print the Modbus address, type ?XU,O! in the terminal software.
  3. Change the Modbus address. 
    ?XU,O=1!
  4. To change back to the Modbus mode, see Changing from CLI mode to Modbus mode.
