The Indigo80 handheld indicator provides two ways to calibrate and adjust measurements for probes: Guided calibration and Manual adjustment.

Calibration methods available with Indigo80

Use Guided calibration if you have a reference gas environment or a calibrated reference instrument (another GMP251 or GMP252 probe or a third party instrument), and you want to:

  • Perform calibration check at 1 or 2 CO2 levels (check only, probe not adjusted), or
  • Adjust your probe using 1 or 2 CO2 levels (probe adjusted to minimize the observed error).

Use the Manual adjustment mode only if you already have calibration data (for example, a calibration certificate) for 1 or 2 calibration points and want to adjust the probe to correct the observed errors. No reference instrument or calibration gases are needed. For all other use cases, Guided calibration is recommended.
