You can replace or supplement the AC/DC power supply with the following:

  • External DC power system
  • 12 V or 24 V battery system

For detailed requirements, see RWS200 System Description (M211607EN).

CAUTION The input voltage from an external DC power system must never drop below 10 V DC.
CAUTION When using solar panels as the external DC power system, design the system according to the local conditions and the system setup.
  1. Terminate the power supply or battery cables in a 2‑pin COMBICON connector.

    Power cable (usually red)

    Ground cable (usually black). The wire colors depend on the local electrical regulations.
  2. Insert the connector to the PMU701 EXT DC port in the PMP701 plug-in module.
