To install the BOXALU‑US or BOXSS‑US enclosure on a lattice tower, use the 60030004 mounting kit. Install the RWS200 backplate inside the enclosure using the ASM211177 mounting frame.

  1. Attach the cross members to the lattice tower.

  2. Attach the enclosure to the cross members.

    Lift the enclosure by holding it from the ceiling and bottom.

  3. Drill the necessary cord connector holes and conduit holes to the bottom of the enclosure.

    Example of the layout:

    1‑inch conduit hole for phone line. Use only if phone line is installed. Locate as required.

    2‑inch conduit hole for AC (mains) power cable and enclosure grounding. Locate as required.
    3
    2‑inch conduit hole for embedded sensors. Locate as required.
    4
    ½‑inch cord connector (CGB) hole for precipitation sensor. If used, locate as shown.

    ½‑inch cord connector (CGB) for air temperature and humidity sensor. If used, locate as shown.

    ½‑inch cord connector (CGB) for wind speed and direction sensor. If used, locate as shown.

  4. Install the necessary cord connectors and conduits.

    The installation contractor supplies the conduit.

  5. Assemble the backplate mounting frame and install it inside the enclosure.

    You can install the mounting frame either as shown or upside down, depending on where you want to position the backplate.
