You can use 12 V solar panels to power the station or to charge the system internal battery when the main power is unavailable.

For detailed requirements, see RWS200 System Description (M211607EN).

For instructions on how to connect solar panels to power the station, see Connecting external DC power system.

  1. Terminate the solar panel cables in a 2‑pin COMBICON connector.

    Power cable (usually red)

    Ground cable (usually black). The wire colors depend on the local electrical regulations.
  2. Insert the connector to the PMU701 PANEL 1 or PANEL 2 port in the PMP701 plug-in module.
