| To ensure good signal quality, install the splice kit as close to sensor (manhole) as possible. The maximum recommended distance between the sensor and the splice kit is 30 m (98 ft 5 in). |
| Very long cables are susceptible to lightning-induced damages. |
| Do not to add more than one cable splicing for a sensor. Adding more than one splice increases the risk of faulty connections. |
