| Wear the provided gloves when placing the cables in the splice enclosure. |
- Remove the plastic bag covering the splice enclosure.

Lay the cables inside the splice enclosure. Fold over the wires to better fit them
inside the enclosure.
- Peel off the protective papers between the splice enclosure halves.

Close the splice enclosure.
- To force the splice and cables into the sealant, push the 2 halves of the splice enclosure together as tight as possible.

To squeeze the halves together, slide the V-notched end of the closing clamp
towards the cable end of the splice kit.

Tapping the closing clamp with a mallet, slide the closing clamp along the
enclosure to squeeze the halves together.
Continue tapping until fully closed.
Tap the closing clamp slowly to allow excess sealant to extrude from the enclosure. - Wipe off any extruding sealant if needed.
- Insert the splice enclosure into the splice hole.
