4‑mm and 5‑mm Allen keys

To mount the enclosure to a lattice mast, use the ASM210998 mounting kit. The mounting clamps can be attached to a 25–70 mm (0.98–2.76 in) structure.

The same instructions apply to ENC653 installation.

If the lattice mast has anti-climb panels that prevent you from attaching the mounting frame to the lattice structure, attach the mounting frame to the mast by some other means. Some masts have rectangle mounting brackets for enclosures. Check if these brackets can be used with the enclosure, drill the necessary holes, and attach the brackets to the mast and the mounting frame to the brackets.

  1. Measure and mark the place where the upper framing channel is to be installed. Make sure that the mast structure allows attaching the framing channel there.

    To mount the enclosure at eye height, place the upper framing channel approximately 1.45 m (4 ft 9 in) from the ground.

  2. Attach the cabling box to the mounting frame of the enclosure.

  3. Attach the framing channels to the mounting frame. Tightening torque 5 Nm.

  4. Attach the threaded rods into the locking plates and insert the locking plates inside the framing channels.

  5. Lift the mounting frame to the mast and attach the frame with the mounting clamps.

    11 cm (4.33 in) from the top of the clamp to the radiation shield

    8 cm (3.15 in) from the top of the clamp to the top of the mounting frame

  6. Lift the enclosure by holding it from the battery mounting clamp and the bottom of the enclosure.
  7. Hang the enclosure onto the frame by sliding the mounting studs on the back of the enclosure into the mounting slots of the frame.

  8. Attach the enclosure to the mounting frame. Tightening torque 5 Nm.
