HMT140 can store several thousands of records before needing to overwrite data. In the event of a communication problem, HMT140 will continue to log and store data until it has collected 3060 records per channel and then it will begin overwriting data.
For example, if HMT140 is configured with a 5-minute sample rate, it will continue to log data for approximately 10 days before overwriting data.
