If the voltage supplied to the DMT132 is too low for reliable operation, or there is some serious problem that prevents measurement, the DMT132 will enter an error state. The error state is indicated by the following:
- Analog current output is set to the error level (default is 3.8 mA)
- If the LED indicator plug option is installed, the LED is blinking

Serial line outputs asterisk characters "*" instead of measurement data for the SEND command

The ERRS command returns the currently active error code(s).
For example:
>errs Error: E2 Humidity sensor open circuit/not calibrated >
