If you are not sure what the serial settings of your transmitter are, follow these steps to view and change the settings.

Make sure there are no other transmitters on the serial line.

Provide the transmitter with a 9 V supply voltage. This voltage is enough to start it in the error state.

Connect to the serial line using the error state serial line settings 19200 N 8 1.

Give the ? command to view the transmitter settings, including the serial settings and address. For an output example, see Show device information.
You may have to give the command several times if there are characters in the buffer.

If necessary, set new serial line settings using the SERI command.
