To protect your hands, always wear gloves when handling the guy wires.
WARNING Make sure your clothing and equipment do not get tangled in the wires or equipment during installation.
  1. Locate guy wire 1 that is opposite to the tilting direction.

    The installation of guy wire 1 is different from the installation of guy wires 2 and 3. Guy wire 1 is released when the mast is lowered.

  2. To enable easy releasing of guy wire 1, connect the U bolt to the eye nut with a shackle. Slide the strap onto the U bolt and thread the nuts.

    The additional bow shackle may differ from the one shown in the figure.
  3. For guy wires 2 and 3, connect the U‑bolt to the eye nut that is installed on the concrete block. Slide the strap onto the U‑bolt and thread the nuts.

  4. Make sure that the guy wire is properly in the key groove.

  5. Secure the guy wires with the rope clips. Place the wire rope clips on the wire so that the clamp is on the wire that comes from the mast (the tension side). Put the U‑bolt on the side of the wire end.

  6. Tighten the U‑bolt nuts until the initial tension of the guy wires is sufficient.
    CAUTION To make sure that the mast is standing straight, tighten all the guy wires equally.
  7. Cut the extra guy wire.
  8. Place the black and yellow cable shrouds around the guy wires.

    There is 1 package of cable shrouds for each wire.
