Ground the cable shield to the CG3 ... CG8 cable glands. Cable glands CG1 and CG2 cannot be grounded.
If cable glands CG3 ... CG8 are used, fold the cable shield back over the O‑ring of the plastic portion and mount the metal cable gland.

For better protection against RF interference, fold the braided cable shield over the plastic sleeve.
Tighten the cable glands and make sure that no cable shield mesh gets on the circuit board.
