There are 4 safety features on Safe-Drive: a safety pin and a safety clip on the side of the outer casing for locking the outer casing in place, a redundancy safety latch behind the safety pin and clip, and a locking plate that locks the isolation valve handle in the closed position. Always ensure that you have the safety features in place in the appropriate steps when following the work instructions in this document.

CAUTION Safety features must be always secured in place in the instructed steps. Not having the safety features in place can result in equipment damage or injury.

Isolation valve handle locking plate (part is not colored). Can be secured in locked position (down) with a pin, lock, or similar to prevent the handle being opened by accident.
