Wider allowed temperature range of temperature data from TMP115 probe. Support for data backfill when connected to a cloud service.
Release date: June 2024
New features and improvements
- Updated the allowed range of temperature data from TMP115 probes, new allowed range −196 °C … 180°C (−320 … 356 °F).
- The AP10 now uses a static client identifier for DHCP. This feature is designed to help maintain the same IP address for the AP10 when connected to Ethernet in DHCP mode. With this update, DHCP servers are able to assign previously leased IP addresses to the same device upon reboot. Please note that the actual preservation of the IP address is dependent on the DHCP server and lease configurations.
-
Cloud service features:
- Sending of debug logs to cloud services to enhance monitoring and troubleshooting capability.
- Gapless data: The AP10 device will backfill available measurement data when requested by the monitoring system.
Fixes
- CM-2: Fixed an issue where some samples could get lost and never backfilled during RFL100 restart.
- CM-7976: Fixed an issue where device that was preconfigured for cloud use incorrectly triggered the software recovery mechanism after a few restarts, which could potentially lead to the wrong software being booted.
- CM-7564: Fixed an issue related to large VaiNet systems (multiple VaiNet segments in use). In some situations, RFL100 would show its status as connected while AP10 and viewLinc would show it as disconnected.
- CM-7697: Fixed rare situations where AP10 would send the wrong time to RFL100 in the beacon message.
- CM-7816: Fixed an issue found in AP10 firmware version 5.1.0 that would prevent the debug log level from working after it was enabled from viewLinc.
Compatibility
- AP10 devices in the same VaiNet network must have firmware version 5.0.0 or later.
- Compatible with all RFL100 versions (large VaiNet with RFL100 firmware prior to version 1.8.0 in segment A only).
- Compatible viewLinc Enterprise Server versions 5.2, 5.1, and 5.0.
- Compatible with viewLinc Cloud.
Upgradeability
- Available as firmware update for any AP10 device with hardware revision G or H.
