Support for CO2 measurement probe GMP251.

Release date: June 2021

New features and improvements

  • CO2 measurements support. The GMP251 can be attached to the RFL100 Data Logger, which joins AP10.

  • The operating system was upgraded, and significant architectural refactoring and improvements were made to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Both Web and Touch display user interfaces were redesigned. Here are the key functional differences from the earlier release:
    • Settings re-organized: VaiNet radio settings and network settings are now both grouped on their own separate pages.
    • In the Maintenance tab of the Web interface, the Partial factory reset feature was replaced with a newly simplified feature called Reset settings. The user can select one or more settings to reset to default values.

    • When enabling the touch display password, the settings area gets locked after an idle (user inactive) time of 3 minutes. There is a lock icon overlaid on the settings icon in the home screen when the settings become locked.
    • If the display is switched off and the user wakes it up with touch, it will switch off again after 30 seconds of user inactivity.
  • When the VaiNet channel is not selected (cleared), the radio is switched off.
  • Support for new AP10 hardware revision H. It includes support for a new, more accurate Real Time Clock (RTC).

Fixes

  • Fixed all issues related to the partial factory reset feature. See the related enhancement in Known issues.
  • Fixed an issue where firmware update would show a failure message even though the update was successful.

Compatibility

  • Tested compatible with RFL100 versions (1.0.0, 1.1.0, 1.2.0, 1.3.0, 1.4.0).

  • Tested compatible with viewLinc Enterprise Server versions 5.0.x and 5.1.x.

Upgradeability

The software was tested compatible with AP10 hardware revision G and H. NOT compatible with AP10 hardware revision F.

Upgrade available from all earlier software releases assuming the hardware is compatible. It requires support from Vaisala Service.
