Before taking the USB cable into use, you must install the USB cable driver on your computer. The driver is delivered in the USB drive with SATEL software and manuals.
  1. Make sure that the USB cable is not connected.
  2. Insert the USB drive in a USB port in your computer and run the USB cable driver setup file.
  3. When the setup wizard has completed, connect the USB RS‑232 cable to your computer.
  4. Open Vaisala USB Device Finder and verify the COM port where the cable is connected to.
