The DSC74C sampling cell consists of the DSC74B sampling cell and the DMCOIL cooling/venting coil. DSC74C is designed for the most demanding measurements at atmospheric pressure.
The coil acts as a venting coil in the gas outlet (Setup with DSC74C for measurements at atmospheric pressure) to prevent ambient humidity from disturbing low dew point measurements in applications where the gas pressure is reduced to ambient pressure before entering the sampling cell.
When sampling from high-temperature processes, the coil can be used at the gas inlet to cool down the sample gas before it reaches the sensor (Alternative assembly of DSC74C for tight spaces, with DMCOIL used for cooling the sample).
